Just lift and the rest will fall into place. Simply means not overwhelming ourselves with diets, supplementation, preworkout boosters, and or what the mainstream is doing. Just lift and have fun should be the goal here! Many times I hear people talking about going to the gym, or would have went if…, and I would like to go today but… . For the most part this is due to worring about what the mainstream is doing with supplementation/ preworkout drinks, not having them, and or the right ones. Let’s get back to the basics ladies and gents and that is exercise! Sure preworkouts and supplementation is great, but don’t let it dictate your motivation and inner drive to get a workout in. If you are a beginner it is even more important to understand that you need to rely on “self.” This is the “Just Lift” part of the topic.
The rest will fall into place simply means, as we learn how to exercise and intrinsically rely on ourself to get the job done, then, we can start to add in the “extras” such as supplements and focus more on diet. We should always be concious about our diet but for the beginner this can be overwhelming, maybe discouraging. Using myself for example, the more I progressed in my workouts, and seen changes in my body, the more consious I became about my eating habits, and therefore wanting to learn and apply healthier eating habits in my life.
